Dog mom, wife, photographer, human jukebox & sunshine worshiper
When the confetti settles and the lights go out, what is left from your wedding day? Wonderful memories, sure, but those mental images will fade over time. The bouquet will wilt. The dress will hang in your closet until you try to get your future daughter to wear it on her big day... but we can probably guess that it will be an ancient relic to her by the time that happens!
Let's be real- the photographs from your day are the only tangible memories that you will carry with you until death do you part. And even then, those pictures will be passed down through the generations that are to come.
As your photographer, it is so important to me to capture the fast-fleeting, love-filled moments we tend to forget about when the day is gone. Like when your mom clasped her mom's necklace around your neck while you were getting ready. That moment you squeezed your maid of honor's hand before walking down the aisle or that time your friends all the way from California toasted one another in your name during cocktail hour. These are the moments we don't really think about when we are caught up and overwhelmed with love... but I will remind you. I will remind you how loved you were, how much fun everyone had and how many emotions were shared. I will remind you how beautiful you looked, how handsome your groom was and how your wedding coordinator rocked the exact look you envisioned. With the images I capture, I will remind you for all your years to come that all your life's greatest moments began with love.
