Beth & John

Beth & John were married right in their very own backyard in Connecticut surrounded by all of their most favorite people and it was everything they could have wished for. The yard was lined with campers and places to set up tents from people near and far. Hotel- Shmotel… right? How convenient is that!? I knew there was sure to be a wonderful time for all in store.

The water- loving couple had a nautical theme throughout, from the beach themed cake to centerpieces and different shades of blue, it really brought you to a vacation state of mind right in the heart of the cozy home where they live, love and grow together. Among their oasis, you found nothing but happiness and smiles from all who were in attendance. If someone asked me if Beth was excited to marry John, I would tell them to just look at these images! I don’t think there was any part of the day where I didn’t capture or see Beth laughing and smiling. Sure, the two had lived lives before knowing each other… but you would think these two had been together through it all. The love shown between Beth & John was apparent, comfortable and REAL. It was so easy to photograph them together and the laughter flowed throughout the entire time I had with them. I was only there for a few hours, but the overall vibe was that of a classic, summer backyard party. With the bar set up for guests to let go of their worries with a tropical cocktail or two and the happiness shared by all those around, I knew when I left there would be many more laughs, love and dancing to be had.

Beth & John, Thank you so much for letting me capture a few special hours of your day! It was my pleasure to capture all the humans who make your life whole.

The power of pictures! Memories and emotions captured that I never knew occurred. That is what you captured! How can we ever thank you for that! Amazing photos that we could not imagine being captured. My mother standing after 4 months of being wheelchair bound. The out poring of loving children or friends that have been there through thick and thin. The moment we realized that our dreams had come true … when we saw our home and all that loved us gathered around it! These are priceless moments that you gave us through the lens of your camera and your instinct to capture it. Amaing! We are forever grateful. Wish you stayed longer! Thank you a thousand times over1
